About us

We are led by Lynda Webb, a talented and experienced choir leader. Lynda holds a BMus (Hons) and has spent much of her life as a teacher in both the primary and secondary sectors. She has led choirs of all ages and abilities.

Lynda lives in Middle Barton and has four children and a long suffering husband, Andy. She is also an active member of the village Drama Group.

"There is nothing more powerful to me than hearing voices united in song. That's the goosebump factor!"

Bel Canto

Formed in December 2014 by leader Lynda Webb, we are a growing choir with an ever-expanding, eclectic repertoire.

We meet weekly on a Tuesday, during term time only, in the village school hall, at 7.45. We aim to finish at aound 9.15pm, but we have occasionally gotten carried away and finished a little later.

The choir is open to both men and women aged 16 and over, and there is no upper age limit!

Some of us are music readers, but the majority of us are not. Some of us have sung in choirs before, but a lot of us haven't. Some of us are super confident and some of us are growing in confidence, but every single one of us enjoys singing and has fun EVERY week.
